PAYMENT POLICY
Deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. The balance is due on arrival before the commencement of the tour program. If the reservation is made within 30 days of departure the whole amount must be paid at the time of confirmation. Deposits are payable through swift wire transfers from your bank to ours. Details for transfer are provided when you are ready to confirm your booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY
First, all cancellations must be received in writing.
Following is the scale for cancellation charges.
if cancelled between 46 and 31 days prior to arrival.
50% if cancelled between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival.
100% if cancelled between 14 days and 24 hours prior to arrival.

ITINERARY CHANGES
Although every effort is made to adhere to the schedules, it should be noted that the Hoteliers may be obliged to occasionally change routes on safaris as dictated by changing conditions. Such conditions may be brought about by seasonal rainfall on bush tracks or in game areas. Bongosafaris will communicate with you for such itinerary or accommodation changes.

ALTERATIONS TO TOURS
The right is reserved to change any route or arrangements should conditions necessitate to offer substitute of equal value or cancel the operations of any scheduled tour. The right is also reserved to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour at any time, in which event an equitable amount will be refunded.

DURING THE SAFARIS
Guaranteed window seat and access to photograph roof hatch in a specially equipped custom built safari bus driven by our experienced driver guides.

We supply: 

All game drives unless conditions do not allow. E.g. weather, etc.
Full accommodations in safari lodges.
All game park entrance fees.
Services of experienced driver guides.

SECURITY
Visitors are advised not to leave any valuables in their hotel rooms when they go out, but to make use of the safe deposit boxes which are available at most hotels and lodges. As in all major cities, it is advisable to avoid back streets at night(especially alone) infact it is much safer to avoid night walking altogether and use taxis or self drive hired instead. Kenya has an excellent police force and most lodges and hotels have experienced security personnel and caring doormen.

ACCOMODATION
Whenever possible we book rooms with private bathrooms on the basis of two persons sharing a double room. Single rooms are available at supplementary costs, but neither single nor double room private but can be guaranteed especially within the national parks and game reserves.

PHOTOGRAPHY
It is an offence to film or photograph Kenya’s head of state, military installations, policemen in uniforms e.t.c. As a general role elsewhere, visitors are strongly advised to seek permission before taking any photograph.

RISKS
Bongosafaris draws your attention to the fact that in any adventure travel there is an element of risk. Booking a safari tour with us signifies your acceptance to travel at your own risk. It is however advisable to take health and travel insurance and separate baggage loss before arrival to Kenya.

NOT  INCLUDED IN QOUTED TOUR PRICES
 The following items are not included in tour prices. The costs of obtaining passports or visas, personal expenses such as laundry and room service, gratuites to your safari driver guides, excess baggage fees, laundry, personal insurance and items of personal nature.
