Before entering the park you will have a brief stop-over near the gate so that you can freshen up. This will take almost twenty minutes, thereafter proceed and check in the park for your first game drive. The park is big so you will have ample time searching for animals and enjoying nature. You will pass-by the man made Aruba Dam for an opportunity to see Hippos and any other animal drinking water. You will continue with the drive in search of the Big Five and other wild animals and birds until lunch time. Take your lunch in your preferred accommodation after lunch rest until 4 pm time for your evening game drive. This will take you until 6 pm time to go back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

The day starts with an early morning safari game-drive in Tsavo East at 06.30 hrs. This is a good time to see many animals because the sun is not hot. The birds of different kinds can be seen at this time and if you are not a bird lover, the water buck, gazelles, impalas and many animals can be seen at this time. Return to the Lodge for breakfast at 08.00 hrs. With your luggage leave for Taita Hills and you will arrive after two hours, you will do a short game drive before going for lunch at Taita Hills Lodge. You will do game drive in the sanctuary until sunset, and chances are good to see lions as well. Dinner and overnight at Salt Lick Lodge. Salt Lick Lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of roundavels sits on stilts over a series of water holes. The two-storey towers, topped by peaked thatch roofs, are connected by open-air-bridges, creating an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind – you can see animals in all directions.

The day will start with an early morning game drive. This will be at 6.30am, this is a good time to see animals while they are still active. This will take you until 8am, drive back to your accommodation for breakfast and after breakfast, with your luggage leave the lodge for another game drive on your way out and start your journey to Mombasa.
